Testimonials

We absolutely loved The Watch House . It is such a special place and we hope to come back one day.

The house was absolutely perfect, and we all felt at home immediately. We were a party aged between 6 and 76 and everyone had a fantastic time.

The Watch House is in the most idyllic position on the beach. We spent our time sailing, kayaking, swimming and paddle boarding. We even had an all ages table tennis tournament in the garden room., and croquet on the lawn.

The Watch House was clean, tidy and the kitchen very well equipped. It is such a unique house and so very different from many clinical rental properties out there. With a wealth of period features, antique furniture and lots of books it feels like you are being allowed into a treasured family home. We used a local caterer (who also runs a local building company) to help us with a big dinner party and she observed that she had never seen a such a beautiful holiday house.

The garden is stunning and kept so beautifully. We loved sitting out, having lunch in the sun.

I am just catching up from the most magical weekend. Thank you for trusting your home to us. The children played endlessly hide and seek in the garden and house and we will definitely be back if that’s ok.

The adults kept laughing as there was this enormous house and both nights were spent happily in the kitchen.

Kids were in heaven- was such a lovely weekend

We very much enjoyed our weekend and thought the house absolutely lovely.

Thank you – we had a brilliant time at the Watch House – thank you for everything. My kids are asking if we can come to the Isle of Wight every summer!

We rented the Watch House in Bembridge to celebrate a big birthday and so our extended family could spend the week together at the end of the summer.

There were lots of recommendations in the house book for activities to do and places to eat all over the Isle of Wight.

The garden is stunning and kept so beautifully. We loved sitting out, having lunch in the sun.

My husband said that the Isle of Wight had exceeded all his expectations while our 13-year- old daughter has asked if we can make it a family tradition.
